AP 352 - Use of Cell Phones and Electronic Devices in Schools

Effective September 1, 2024, the use of personal digital devices will be limited in schools across Alberta.

Staff and families are asked to familiarize themselves with our school division’s newest administrative procedure (AP) regarding the limitation of digital devices in our schools during instructional time.

Each school shall adopt policies governing the acceptable use of personal digital devices while individuals are on school property and/or in attendance at school-sponsored activities. Each school will share specific information within their school communities regarding expectations for digital device storage and the consequences of use.
