Chip In Against Cancer Golf Classic (Registration and Sponsorship Opportunities)

Chip In Against Cancer Golf Classic will be held on Thursday, August 8, 2024.

Player/Team Registration

If you're interested in entering a team into the Classic, please call the Medicine Hat Golf & Country Club at 403-529-6930. They will take registration and payment for the teams.  The entry fee is $150/person; this includes 18 holes of golf with a shared power cart, driving range balls, lunch and supper.

Sponsorship Opportunities

If you're interested, or you know of a company that may be interested in sponsoring a hole, we are asking for $300.00. This will give you (2) 2'X4' signs at a designated hole, as well as advertisement at the supper/program. We are also looking for Silent Auction and Prize items.  We will provide a letter of acknowledgment/receipt for the sponsorship.  If you would like to become a sponsor, please contact trish_helman@hotmail.com or at 403-502-6413.

The Honeycomb House (grades 7-12)

The Honeycomb House, located at the Medicine Hat Public Library on the lower level, is open for drop-in for teens in grades 7-12 up to and including age 19. Come to study, create, relax, videogame, and/or hangout after school and on weekends. 

The Honeycomb House Drop-In Hours:

Mondays CLOSED
Tuesdays, Wednesdays, & Thursdays  3:30 - 7:30 PM
Friday, Saturday, & Sundays  1:00 - 4:30 PM

Y Mind Teen

Y Mind Teen

Ages 13 to 17

Y Mind Teen is a free seven-week mental wellness program for teens ages 13 to 17  who are experiencing symptoms of mild-to-moderate anxiety or stress. Participants learn and practice evidence-based strategies to help manage anxiety.

Y Mind Teen is led by trained mental health professionals and gives teens the chance to connect with peers who are experiencing similar thoughts and feelings.
