Medicine Hat Catholic's Student Faith Leadership Program was established in the fall of 2022. The program is intended to create opportunities for students to grow both in their faith life and their leadership skills. Students chosen to be part of the SFLP have opportunities to participate in faith-based sessions which helps equip them to be disciples in their own schools.
How does the program work?
At the beginning of the school year, each school selects student representatives to partake in the Student Faith Leadership Program.
Students are selected based on their positive nature and leadership qualities. These student representatives, from each of our Catholic schools, will gather for active days facilitated by a dynamic youth minister.
At these gatherings, students participate in a variety of activities. Tasks include developing a school prayer, planning school faith activities and coordinating service projects (with guidance and support from their school Teacher Faith Leader).

Quarterly sessions are held at Holy Family Parish with bussing and lunch provided.
