Hold and Secure St. Mary's School Sept. 5

At 11:15 am, St. Mary's School was put in hold and secure as per division emergency response protocol. 

A hold and secure is used in response to potential threats outside the school building/neighbourhood. During a hold and secure, all entrance doors to the school are locked, with no one permitted in or out of the building. No one, other than law enforcement, is permitted access to the building until the Hold and Secure has been cleared.

Please note, staff and students are safe in the school building and families will be notified once an ALL CLEAR has been called.
