Public Playground Access During COVID-19 Outbreak

In order to help reduce the spread of COVID-19, we must all do our part in following Alberta Health Services (AHS) recommendations around social distancing. In coordination with the City of Medicine Hat, Cypress County, the Town of Redcliff, and local school boards, MHCBE and all parties are recommending families to refrain from visiting public playground structures at this time.

We still want to encourage families to get outside and stay active while maintaining proper social distancing at all public outdoor areas. Medicine Hat has approximately 1,600 hectares of open park spaces and 115 kilometres of trails and pathways remain available for use.
