Friends of McCoy Society Christmas Fundraiser

Our gracious community partners Dee's Baked Goods and Grit City Distillery are offering an opportunity to purchase Christmas Baking and Christmas Cheer and help the Friends of McCoy raise funds for a theatre and physical literacy facility at Monsignor McCoy High School. This new facility at Monsignor McCoy will be named the Sisters of Charity of St. Louis Centre (SCSL Centre) in honor of the order of Sisters who helped start Catholic Education in Medicine Hat and served the community for over one hundred years.

We are offering the following items for sale: 

A 36 item Christmas baking selection from Dee's Baked Goods:

The selection includes 18 cookies ( 3 varieties: ShortBread, GingerBread Men, Peppermint Munchie) and 18 squares ( 3 varieties: Pumpkin, Festive Fruit Cake, Eggnog Brownie) $30.00

A number of Christmas Cheer Gift Baskets from Grit City Distillery:

  1. Small Caesar Basket $65: package includes Small Clamato, Bottle of GC Caesar Vodka and a Lucky's Speedsauce Rimmer 
  2. Old Fashioned Kit $75: package includes GC's Old Fashioned in a Bottle, Rocks Glass & Dehydrated Oranges.
  3. Rhubarb Ginger Mule Basket $60: GC's Rhubarb Ginger Gin Liqueur, Ginger Beer Bottles(4), Dehydrated Limes
  4. Forbidden Fruit Gin & Tonic $80: GC's Forbidden Fruit Gin, Tonic Bottles(4), Dehydrated Grapefruits

You can place your order the following ways:

  1. Order online here!
  2. Filling out the Google Form and printing it off and dropping it off at Monsignor McCoy High School with a cheque made payable to “The Friends of McCoy.” Monsignor McCoy is located at 202 8 Street N.E. T1A 5R6
  3. Order forms will also be available at Monsignor McCoy High School and the Medicine Hat Catholic Board of Education office located at 1251 1 Ave. S.W. T1A 8B4

**Please note all orders must be in by the end of the day December 8, 2021**

Order Pickup Information

When your order is processed you will receive a "ticket" for our items. The items can be picked up as follows.

Dee's Baked Goods:

On December 18 the baked goods can be picked up at Holy Family Parish Hall ( 1451 Strachan Road S. E.)  using the entrance off the south entrance to the Parish Hall from 9:00 a.m. to noon. 

Grit City Distillery:

Starting on December 18 at Grit City Location 690 South Railway Street. 

Tues-Thurs: 11pm -8pm

Friday-Saturday: 11am-10pm

Sunday-Monday: Closed
