Leadership Announcement - St. Patrick’s School

The Medicine Hat Catholic Board of Education is pleased to announce that Mrs. Andrea Rota has been selected as the Vice-Principal of St. Patrick's School!

Mrs. Rota will begin her role in the fall of 2024 as Mr. Ron Pisoni moves into his new role as Principal of St. Michael’s School.

Andrea has worked as a teacher for 10 years and has been teaching at Mother Teresa School since 2020. Currently, she is teaching a grade 1/2 split where she has the opportunity to watch students develop their foundational literacy skills, which is one of the greatest joys of her practice.

She began her journey into leadership last year with her Masters of Education program at the University of Calgary with a focus on Educational Research and a specialization in Leadership. Andrea believes that fostering effective relationships and connections among staff, students, and learning services will create an environment where all members can achieve authentic learning experiences.
