Posted on May 1, 2021

St. Mary’s School will be temporarily transitioning to online learning from May 3- 14, 2021. Students will return to in-person class on Monday, May 17.

Letter from the Superintendent of Schools

May 1, 2021

Dear Parents/Guardians,

As you may be aware, four cases of COVID-19 have been identified at St. Mary’s School over the past two weeks. As there are cases in different grades over 15 staff members have been identified as close contacts and have been quarantined. It has become clear that we will not be able to provide enough qualified substitute teachers to replace all the teachers. Therefore, due to operational concerns, we will be transitioning to online learning beginning Monday, May 3, 2021 until Friday, May 14, 2021.

During this period, students will be provided with online and/or paper-based instruction. Should you require support in accessing technology, please contact the principal to make appropriate arrangements. More specific information regarding online learning will be sent out by the school shortly. We will make every effort to keep you informed should any circumstances change.

Thank you for your patience and understanding.

God bless!
